ABOUT MADO
Thanks to its more than 170-year history in the food sector, MADO was able to stir up emotions by fusing traditional recipes with authentic historical Turkish cuisine.
MADO Cafe played a significant role in the growth of the food industry in Turkey by establishing the first domestic franchising system. Over the course of 60 years and through more than 394 branches, we have been able to provide the finest authentic Turkish cuisines with original recipes passed down through generations.
The adventure started with Osman Ağa who was the first head of the Kanbur family when he started our success story at a shop of 25 m² in K.Maraş. in 1852.
Until we got here today with more than five thousand people including hundreds of executives and specialists working in the modern facilities, which are based on an area of 33 thousand m² and have a closed area of 6.500 m .
And speaking of our beginnings, we must not leave out our first delicious product, the famous Turkish ice cream ‘Dondurma’, which we distinguish in MADO from the whole world.
When the ice cream topic is brought up, two towns come to mind:
Rome in Italy & K.Maraş in Turkey.
Even though Roman ice cream has been popularized and reproduced in various nations over a long period of time, this is not the case for the K.
Ice cream from Maras. The 300-year-old, deeply ingrained flavor tradition that is exclusive to Anatolian area and can only be manufactured in K.Maraş, which has been consumed throughout European and Middle Eastern nations for the last 20 years, is the source of MADO’s ice cream.
